I would have thought these would hold up better. The color faded almost immediately and they are not at all as soft as 600 thread count should be.

Well made but scratchy July 10, 2010

I was really surprised to find that a 600 thread count sheet would be so scratchy! I laundered them before use and had a hard time sleeping in them they were so scratchy. I laundered them again using fabric softner with little if any improvement. Maybe if they got laundered 15-20 times they might soften up but I didn't feel like losing that much sleep trying.

Extra pillowcases for king sheet set March 29, 2010

I ordered these standard pillowcases in addition to the two king cases that came with the sheet set. It's really strange that they seem to be made of a different fabric than the king cases--thicker and stiffer? After a couple of washings, they're beginning to soften but they're quite different from the king cases. Still a good value.

While still very nice, the 2-pillowcase set that I ordered, in addition to the sheet set, does not seem to be made of the same fabric. It is a little more stiff and not as soft. I assume that it will soften through repeated washings. Even with this difference, we are happy with the purchase.
